The new robot is not a delivery bot that uses India. This new generation and all previous versions of the Neuro are road-driven vehicles.The new “neuro” bot, which has a package volume twice as large as the existing model, a customized storage compartment, and a temperature-adjustable compartment, keeps items warm or cold, is a mass-produced automobile grade vehicle. This means that it is designed and built to withstand environments where delivery vehicles are expected to face, including weather, port halls, misuse and abuse of people, and long road trips.
Neurodelivery bots also have safety features designed to protect people who may encounter cars, such as pedestrians and cyclists. The vehicle is equipped with various types of sensors such as cameras, radars, riders, and thermal imaging cameras, and even if one of them fails, the built-in redundancy ensures a 360-degree field of view at all times.One notable feature is the external airbag, which is deployed when the vehicle collides with people or other objects.

However, the vehicle lacked several functions commonly required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Commission (NHTSA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation. After three years of consultation with the regulator, Neuro was exempted from driverless operation by NHTSA for R2 vehicles. This exemption allows vehicles to operate without side mirrors, wind shields and rear view cameras that disappear as they move forward.Neuro has also received all the approval and permission required to operate a self-driving car delivery service in California that can charge customers.The new “neuro” bot, at least for now, is the final step toward the company’s commercial deployment goals.◇ The production of delivery bots in the desert is almost complete, but they are not ready to put in a large amount of neurons yet. Neuro has raised a lot of money, commissioned a car with a famous partner company, and has grown to over 1,200 employees.
